The first day of bridge I was nervous. I didn’t know anybody but if I come every day I will get to meet new people and make friends. My new friends are called Noe, Lalo, Salvador, and Eric, and more.In math class they teach percecntages,algebra,decimals,and fractions. I learned new things that I didn’t know. We are reading the book called Holes. When we read more, we got to learn new things. When we finish the book we will get to watch the movie. The second week we got to choose electives. I chose swimming and rain gutter regatta. We saw the movie Rango and we are started to watch Mulan. This summer is the best .

Here at bridge it is fun. First we have a lot to learn. Then we have electives, and I chose soccer and life science. Yesterday we had a kickball game class vs class. In math we learned about percentages . It was fun..

Bridge is Like a Christmas Present

BRIDGE IS LIKE A CHRISTMAS PRESENT

Bridge is so fun.For me Peninsula Bridge is incredible. I prefer to go to Bridge than just sit in the couch and play video.I have learned a lot of math and english language arts.We made pizzas with chef Michael because Mrs.Bunyagidy said it was going to be a good idea for math in fractions.We have ta’s that are called Dani,Mikey,Marcelinl,Julicious,and david.We have electives such as rain gutter,life science,robotics,piano,dance,board games,swimming,soccer,arts and crafts,and kick ball.

Boys at Bridge and characters in Holes are similar. They compare because they all want something. 5th graders are obsessed with pokemon and the warden is obsessed with treasure.The boys like Pokemon because they enjoy trading cards and the battling; the Warden just wants to get rich. The boys want the strongest cards and the Warden wants to get Kate Barlow’s loot. The only difference is that the Warden makes the boys at Camp Green Lake do her work and the boys at Bridge do their own work.

Bridge is Special by Salvador

The first day of bridge I felt nervous because I didn’t know anybody. I was shy, but I have made some friends. I enjoy the electives the most.I am playing soccer and doing life science. It’s really fun in life science. You get to make ice cream. Some people said that it tastes bad, but I really enjoyed it!

Bridge is a fun program that helps kids get a head start on their coming up grade.It’s a good program if you want your kid to learn.Also, at bridge you have fun electives like sports, robotics, ship building and others.Bridge is a great program for fun and learning.At bridge you can make freinds and have fun.Bridge a great place for freinds to be made.

Bridge is a fun place that feels like school, but more fun. I really like bridge because it feels like home. All the activities we do are awesome. I will always remember the fun electives. The electives are swimming, dance, robotics, board games, soccer, and more. I recommend swimming and robotics because in robotics you can build things and keep them. Our TAs for 5th grade are Ulises, Dani, Molly, and David. They are really fun. Molly and David are English. Dani and Ulises are Math. In Math we are learning percentages, decimals, and fractions. In English we are reading Holes. After we finish the book we will watch the movie. Our teachers are Ms. B and Ms. Scott. Bridge is the best summer camp I have ever gone to. I hope I can be a TA here later in my life. Bridge is awesome!

I Love Bridge!

I like soccer. I do soccer with Julicious and Conor. I sometimes go on different teams. I slide tackle. I fall sometimes to pretend a foul. Sometimes I fool around with the goalie. I also get mad sometimes because Julicious stops all of my goals. I also really like math with Ms. B! We were doing percentages and I learned a lot. I like it when she times us. I like the book Holes as well. One of my favorite parts was when Stanley saw the yellow spotted lizard. I like Bridge because it is really fun and I can make new friends.

SUMMER BRIDGE!

The first day I went to bridge I was too nervous to talk, but along the way I made friends and had a good time. The T.As, or teacher’s assistants, are funny and kind. Their names are Dani, Molly, Mikey, David, Marcelino, and Ulises. We are reading a book called Holes. I love this book. When we finish reading the book, we are going to see the movie. We also learned fractions. We made pizza and then cut them into sixths to practice what we learned. They were delicious. We have electives every two weeks like swimming, soccer, and board games. In this picture we are reading the book holes. I can see myself. I’m the first kid on the bench.

Hi my name is Jaime F., and I will tell you about my experience at Bridge.

We play a game every morning unless... we get SUDDEN DEATH. Sudden death is where you have to go to class. Bridge is AWESOME and fun. We have two periods - math and language arts. Lots of people play Pokemon during break. We are also reading Holes. We are on chapter 40. Pokemon is an awesome and cool game. I have lots of friends. All the 5th graders are my friends. We made pizza too. It was very yummy.

Best Place Ever

Bridge is a place that sounds boring, but it is actually really fun. Bridge is a place that gets you ready for the next grade. The TAs at bridge are really funny especially Julicious and David. Molly and Dani are ticklish and it is funny because everybody attacks them. Bridge is the best place I have ever been to.

Francisco

We do some really fun stuff at bridge. We do electives in the afternoon. The electives I did last time were raingutter, swimming, robotics, and life science. It was a blast. There are other electives like arts and crafts, drama, dance, and others. I am still doing swimming and robotics.This is my favorite part of bridge.

There are also TA’s like Molly, Mikey, Dani, David, Marcelino, and Julicous. T.A. means teachers assistant. My sister is a T.A. at bridge at Castilleja. Molly and David are the reading and ELA class TA’s with Ms. Scott. Dani and Julicous are in the math class with Ms. B.

There are also some fun academics because in the reading groups we are reading Holes and next week we are going to watch the movie. First we need to finish eleven chapters. In reading class we still do other grammar, such as how to make your paragraph better. Also in math class we learned about taxes, fractions, algebra, decimals, and percentages.We also watch brain pop videos in both of the classes in reading class and math class. We also have science if you take robotics, rain gutter, and others. We have lots of fun stuff here. I would go to bridge if I were you.

Hi, my name is Rodolfo or Rudy, which is what my friends call me. Do you wonder if robots dream when you turn them off ? Do they have feelings too? I wonder. In class we are reading the book Holes. The movie is different then the book. Next week we are going to see the movie.

Bridge

Bridge is a summer school that has lots of fun activities.Soccer, swimming, science and boat building are some examples. We learn math concepts such as decimals and fractions. The TA’s help the students when they need help have fun with them before and after classes. We get food in the morning and afternoon.

Summer Bridge

I am going to talk about Summer Bridge. We learn math,and science. I like math more than science. In math you do all kinds of things. My teacher’s name is Ms. Scott and Ms. B. My activity is swimming. We get to go inside the pool. This is why I like Summer Bridge.

Pizza

On July 3, 2013, we went to make pizzas with Chef Michael during Math class. Each group had five people and one pizza. We got to make the fractions for each of us, there was five slices in our pizza. I love making and eating pizzas, this was a great project.

Death and Holes

In Bridge and Holes there is death. In Holes Sam gets killed. Kate Barlow also gets killed. In Bridge, the farmer found a headless rabbit. Many people died when Sacred Heart was an all girl’s school.
